Samur is a multi purpose hunting knife by Kizlyar. Knife was named after Samur river. Yes, it is rather simple without much of the artificial design elements. Very practical, handy, durable an independent spirit knife. Knife belongs to River series of Kizlyar knifes fish or bear, cutting or digging. Handle ends with metal plate with tightening screw for practical reasons.

Elastron handle performs well in low temperatures, on the snow, provides good grip.

Samur has lower guard, just in case you might need it.
